Unlayer is growing, and we want to expand our sales team with a Business Development Representative (BDR). This position will report directly to the Head of Sales and is remotely located anywhere in the US.

This role is imperative to accelerating the growth at Unlayer. As an early-stage addition to the sales team, there is potential for immediate impact on the business and a clear career path to upward mobility.

BDR Tasks

  • Prospect for new business opportunities
    • Drive Mid-Market and Enterprise prospects to Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) for the sales team utilizing outbound prospecting tools.
  • Qualify inbound leads
    • Qualify leads using our sales methodology to understand the prospect's needs and move them forward into an SQL for the sales team.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years in a BDR/SDR role for a SaaS company
  • Expert user with Hubspot CRM
  • Expert user with Apollo.io prospecting tool
  • History of successful outbound sales prospecting to large companies
  • Knowledge of email marketing, landing pages, and/or digital strategy
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Same-day response time to prospects with a sense of urgency
  • Timely and accurate reporting of all sales activities
  • Start-up mindset with the ability to make things happen
  • Successful completion of a background check & verifiable work history

Preferred Qualifications

  • Formal sales training using Force Management, Challenger or similar methodology
  • Google Suite experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
